All you need to do is to mix 1 can of tomato paste with 4 cans of water and mix well. You can then mix up only what you need and freeze the rest or freeze the tomato juice that you just made up for later use. I would suggest mixing up the amount you will need for your batch using the 1 part to 4 part concept and saving the rest to use in cooking for the family dinner.
But perhaps you found tomato sauce on sale or that is all you have. You can use that as well. Simply use equal parts of tomato sauce and water and make your own.
